Bari Liquid Force ("we," "us," or "our") developed and operates Bariatric Shopper's Companion, also marketed under the name Bariscan (the "App"). The App uses your device's camera solely to scan UPC barcodes on food products. The camera feed is processed locally on your device in real time to read the barcode. The App stores certain data locally on your device to provide its core features, including your scan history, favorited products, and cached product data for offline functionality. This data resides entirely on your device, is not transmitted to our servers, and is not accessible to us or any third party. If you uninstall the App, this locally stored data is deleted.

Data stored locally on your device (scan history, favorites, and cached product information) remains on your device until you clear the App's data, clear its cache, or uninstall the App. You have full control over this data at all times through your device settings.
If you provide your email address through the Website's iOS notification form, we will retain that email address until we have sent the notification and you have had a reasonable opportunity to download the App, after which we will delete it. You may request deletion of your email at any time by contacting us (see Section 12).

We recommend that you protect your device with a passcode or biometric lock and keep your operating system updated.

You can delete all locally stored App data (scan history, favorites, cached data) at any time by clearing the App's data or cache through your device's settings, or by uninstalling the App.
If you provided your email address for the iOS launch notification, you may request its deletion at any time by emailing us at support@bariliquidforce.com.
